What?

The Mob Week is a new working format, which aims to develop a software prototype with a group of about seven people.

Each day is carried out in the working method of Mob Programming. This ensures the integration of all participants regardless of their technical skills. The integration generates a high identification with all decisions. Challenges are solved in an interdisciplinary way.

Why?

Mob Programming?

Mob Programming is based on the principle that everyone can contribute equally to the desired result.

The driver works at a computer whose screen is mirrored on a projector. The navigators have the task to support the driver. The driver changes every 15 minutes. After 2 laps, there is a 15-minute retrospective and a break. All work results are reviewed during the creation and the driver can delegate tasks for further steps. It is possible to leave the room at any time to take a step back and catch a breath.

Manuel Blechschmidt, founder and managing director of Incentergy GmbH. He studied IT Systems Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute and has been working with XML and ISOXML for over 10 years.
